UC Davis Far Westerns (Arizona A)
Day 1: Arizona A defeats UCLA, SJSU and USC II to win their pool!
Day 2 AM: Arizona A wins their power pool, defeating University of Oregon II and Long Beach.
Day 2 PM: Arizona A defeats UC Davis, Cal, UCLA and SDSU to win the Far Westerns for the second straight year! Great job Cats!! We're so proud of you!

AZ Region Tournament
Arizona A tied for third at the AZ Region Tournament this weekend while Arizona B finished eighth. Both teams faced some tough competition but were able to battle to win some key matches. Great job this weekend Cats!
Scrimmage v. ASU
BOTH Arizona A and B went undefeated today, taking out ASU A, ASU B and AZ Sizzle. Great job ladies!
SDSU Invitational
Arizona A lost in the Gold finals against CalPoly while Arizona B took out USD to win the Silver Division! Great job Cats! Looking forward to next semester!
2012-2013 Results
NCVF Nationals:
Your Cats had an amazing tournament in Dallas. Both teams went undefeated the first day (the B team upsetting the number one team in their pool) and headed to gold after finishing well in power pools.
On Saturday, Arizona B defeated James Madison B, Dayton B and Ohio State B to head to the Women's Division II Finals! Later that day, Arizona A defeated Cal Poly A, Illinois A and UCSB A to head to the Women's Division I Finals! Both teams ended up losing close third games to Texas B and Marquette respectively.
Congratulations ladies! We're so proud of you!

UC Davis Far Western:
Arizona A took out UNR B, Boise State and USC and defeated Oregon and Santa Clara in power pools. In bracket play, they beat UNR A, Cal Poly B, UCSB and Cal Poly A in the finals! Way to go Cats!
University of Texas Ranking Tournament:
Arizona B defeated Denver, Baylor B and took Baylor A to 3 before losing to Texas A&M A and B in power play. They made it to the gold and finished 3rd overall! Congratulations ladies!
UCLA Bruin Invitational Final Results:
Arizona A went 7-0, defeating NAU in the finals to win the Bruin Invitational while Arizona B beat UCSD in bracket play to take 5th overall!
Aztec Invitational Final Results:
Day 1: Arizona B who upset Cal Poly A, UCSB B and APU to win their pool! Arizona A was equally successful, defeating LMU, Cal Poly B and SDSU B.
Day 2: Arizona B beat Cal State Fullerton before losing a tough game to UCSD to finish fifth out of twenty teams! Arizona A defeated UCSB B, NAU, Cal Poly A and SDSU A to become the Aztech Invitational Champions for the third consecutive year!

NCVF Nationals Results:
Day 1: Great day for Arizona volleyball!! The A team defeated Penn State, UC Irvine and Saint Louis each in two games while Arizona B beat Texas St B and UC Irvine B before losing to Iowa St B in the third game 13-15. Good luck in the challenge matches tomorrow!!
Day 2: In the challenge matches, Arizona A beat Santa Clara and Minnesota while Arizona B lost two incredibly close matches to Dayton B and Texas State B, both in the third games.
Day 3: Congratulations to Arizona B who defeated Missouri B (25-21, 16-25, 15-9), Grand Valley State B (25-18, 25-14) and Michigan B (25-17, 20-25, 15-10) to become Women's Division II Silver Champions!!

OSU Scarlet and Grey Classic Results:
Arizona A had a great weekend in Ohio. Your Cats went undefeated in pool play against Bowling Green (25-16, 25-10), Miami B (25-13, 25-17), and Dayton B (25-17, 25-14), and later in power pool play against Indiana (25-7, 25-?) and Purdue B (25-11, 25-14). They went on to take out Michigan State (25-20, 26-24), Nationally ranked #2 Ohio State (25-16, 26-24), and Nationally ranked #8 Michigan (25-17, 25-20) before losing to Dayton in the finals.

Final ASU Tournament Results:
The Wildcats dominated the ASU Invitational last weekend! The A team took the tournament with the B team finishing in third.
In pool play, the A team defeated NAU and ASU B while the B team went 1-1, beating the ASU Alumni before losing a tough game to ASU A. The Arizona teams played each other in the cross pool with an A team victory.
In bracket play, the B team defeated the ASU Alumni again before falling to ASU A in the semi-finals. The A team beat NAU for the second time before defeating ASU A for the championship.

It was another spectacular year for UA Women's Club Volleyball at the SDSU Invitational!
The A team went 5-1, defeating UCSB 2 and San Marcos before losing to UC Irvine in pool play. They went undefeated in day two bracket play with wins against NAU, SDSU, and UCSB for their fifth consecutive tournament championship.
The B team took fifth, losing to NAU and SDSU, but beating CSU Fullerton on the first day. In bracket play, they defeated one of the top seeded teams, UC Irvine, among other teams.
